938 Royal St (New Orleans)

938 royal ecto.jpg (258123 bytes)I walk around in the French Quarter a lot.  Usually I start at Pirates Alley Cafe, where I hang with friends, then head down the alley to Royal Street.  I take a few photos of Pere Antoine's Garden, then a few more at Julie's (the Bottom of the Cup Tearoom).  Royal Street is very haunted, with Julie at one end and Madam Lalaurie at the other, so I walk past the Cornstalk Fence Hotel, and on to the St. Germain House, towards Madams.

The entrance of 938royalorb aron.jpg (12285 bytes) 938 Royal Street had caught my eye more than once before I finally took some photographs of it.  I knew nothing about the building.  I was amazed at the results of those first photos.  One had a multi-color ectoplasm suspended in mid air.  My son had also taken a shot, and his contained a huge bright orb, the biggest I have seen.  Now I take photographs every time I pass it, and even if the hall light is on I still get positive frames much of the time.

I haven't had a chance to do an investigation yet, but I plan on it soon.

Kriss Stephens.
