What is it about schools that is so freaky?  I remember the auditorium at my old elementary school, and how much it scared me when I was a child.  There was a small room down the steps and under the bleachers.  A sadist made a make-shift bathroom out of it, and we used to dare each other to go into it and stay with the lights off.  No one ever did.  I have been back a few times, and I have to admit it still gives me the creeps.

I can't tell you the name or location of the building in this investigation.  It is used by the public, and we'd like to continue sneaking in to take photos, so forgive me.  I can tell you that it was built in 1912.  

This building has a reputation as being very scary.  The atmosphere is sinister, and no one I've spoke to is comfortable being in it alone after dark.

Children have reported being chased by a "thing", especially on the second floor.  The stairs seem to be a focal point, as well as the auditorium.  I have talked to several people that used the auditorium, both now and in the past, and they all remarked on the eerie feeling they get in the dressing rooms under the stage.

During our investigations we have found that the fire escape is very active.  It is a new addition to the building, and has no history that would support a haunting.  We have positive frames from all over the building.  There are chains hanging from the ceilings, and I have seen them swinging by themselves, as if someone had just brushed by them.
